iPhone Dispatch Blog

The new 1.1 version of the free WordPress App works with iPhoneDispatch. I’m using it to post this. Should be posting more often now.

I have to admit, the GPS is cool. Especially when you use it with the Maps App, and watch yourself fly across the country. It is great for finding things off the highway, like restaurants and hotels and such. We got use to watching our “little blue dot” move along I-70 while driving east yesterday.
But, the thing that kills it is the drain on battery. Only about 15 minutes will drain half your iPhone battery. So it becomes either a use-it-quick function, or a use-while-plugged-in function. It is a shame, then, that my old iPhone car charger doesn’t work with the new iPhone. Fortunately, a power inverter did the trick.
