OK, this just made me laugh. I used to go to a lot of rock concerts when I was in college. That was back in the late 80s, early 90s. At the end of the show you held up a lighter to encourage the group to come back for the encore they already planned. I stopped going to shows in the mid 90s, so I was surprised when I went recently that mobile phones have replaced lighters. Just hold up your phone and turn it on, let it glow with the backlight. Well, if you have an iPhone, Rocklighter.com is a great way to get the best of both worlds.

hahaha . Yeah I have been using my phone forever for that purpose (at penny arcade expo the crowd will use any backlit thing they have such as Nintendo DSs or PSP etc etc).
I play in a band as well so I will definitely be spreading the word on this. Thanks!
