Loving the iPhone
So it has been nearly two months since I first got my iPhone. I have to say I’m pretty pleased. I got my first mobile phone back in 1999, and didn’t really use it much. I got a PDA even before that, but never really used it as it was intended. When I got my SideKick back in 2004, I saw the benefits of combining the two and began to use both more. But now that I have easy, full Web access and a great interface, I’m finally using my phone/PDA to the fullest with the iPhone.
How has your experience been?

love it! However I do wish that there were options for customizimg the home page. I’d also like to see some “native” apps made available (not that i’ve found much to dislike about all the web-based apps that folks have written). I’d REALLY like to see Google calendar integrated with the iphone calendar!

I agree. I use my iPhone much more than any other device I have owned. From email, rss, iPod and browsing the web, the iPhone rocks!

My phone has been dropped from six fete straight onto cement and it still works perfect. I rarely open my MacBook anymore because I have Google Reader and Facebook ready for my iPhone wherever and whenever. I can now die peacefully.

i love it as well. Worth every penny of the six hundred. Being am independent graphic designer its great to be able to keep tabs on email all day. Yeah I could have done that before but not this easy. I love how when I set it up it asked what email I wanted linked to the phone and it just worked.
Though i am also waiting for Apple to open up the options on it as well. Such as customizong the homepage. Downloading photos and videos. More video formats playable in Safari. Flash plug in. And games! Emulators as well.

I always have my iPhone in hand - it’s become like an added appendage. But it really bugs me that it doesn’t support MSMs. Is this something Apple is working on?

I’m loving it. I just got back from a major road trip and it was the first time I didn’t have to find Internet cafes or schlep my laptop to get all my mission critical work done on my site.
The mapping feature was a godsend, as was the ability to listen to my fav podcasts direct from the site. Definitely the same level of newness fever as when I first surfed the Internet.

Oh I forgot to mention. My GF got a HTC (AT&T) 8525 the same day I got my iPhone and she is taking it back to get an iPhone. She can’t get her fingers off my phone. LOL

I’m on the iphone right now! I absolutely love it. Great plan and unlimited Internet is a godsend. There are room for improvements though such as not being able to drag n drop music onto it, no Flash, no ringtones. But updates will fix that easily soon!

This thing is the most fun I have had in my adult life with electronics. I plan to get a Mac for Xmas and have fun with video creation, something a young parent wants with so many home movies. Something I cannot at all enjoy at present.

had a treo before and loved being able to copy from one app to another (ex
: copy phone numb from contacts and paste it into email or copy entire paragraph from web page and paste in SMS or email). I have found several small issued like this, but for the most part, LOVE my iPhone!!! Any issues I have found r software related and therefore should be easy to fix (ex: I had a server that smsed me about three hundred times and come to find out I have to delete ever SMS separately- each MSG was referenced from a different address)
Can’t wait to see what this beauty can do when apple really gets cooking’.

have had the blackberry and treo but never used the calander or other features. Now I use all and…within the first week went back and bought an iMac. Best two choices I have made this year. Will be getting a Macbook next. By the way I never hear anyone talk about it but I love the typing feature. It learns your vocabulary and finishes words with a tap.
